Event Details

Potential Volunteer Assignments:

Runner - Assists at event as needed - like asking judge for their scores, getting more chairs, etc. Be able to ask folks politely to move out of a walkway.

Work Crew Member - Moves equipment as needed throughout the event.

Escort - Guides team through registration, to and from competition areas, and to and from awards. Ensures team gets to the correct event, assists with water, etc. Sees that the team is returned to coach after the awards presentation.

Awards Volunteer - Responsible for lining up athletes in correct awards order and prepares awards for distribution. 

Attire: Please dress for comfort and mobility. Wear comfortable shoes - you will be on your feet most of the time. Long pants and closed toe shoes are required.

Parking: General parking is limited available at the venue.

AGE ELIGIBILITY FOR VOLUNTEERS:

* 15 years and older can volunteer by themselves.

* 8-14 year olds must be accompanied by parent, guardian, or chaperone.

* 7 years and younger are not given volunteer assignments, but are welcomed and encouraged to be cheerleaders as long as they are accompanied by a parent, guardian, or chaperone.  Please do not 'purchase' a ticket for this position.

* 8-14 year olds in a group situation need a 4 to 1 ratio-meaning one adult (18 years old or older) for every four children.  These groups usually include scout troops, school classes, church groups, etc.

For security purposes, please make sure to bring a current photo ID with you to the volunteer check-in area.
